Exeter Chiefs club captain Alan Miller has become the latest player to leave the club following their promotion to the Premiership. The 28-year-old flanker played over 100 games for Exeter during a seven-year spell at Sandy Park. Devon-born Miller had to sit out the majority of last season because of a series of injuries. Miller is one of 12 players on their way out of Sandy Park as Exeter prepare for their top flight debut. Matt Cornwell has already left to join Northampton, while Sean Tomes recently completed a move to Bedford Blues. Sam Blythe, Toby Freeman, Danny Gray, Steve Jones, Shane Kingsland, Emyr Lewis, Sean Marsden, Saul Nelson and Clive Stuart-Smith are the other confirmed departures.
