Launceston RFC

Launceston produced a stirring second-half performance to beat Wharfedale at Polson Bridge.

With the scores tied at 17-17 at the break, the Cornish All Blacks ran in three second-half tries to go ahead.

Sam Hocking touched down twice for the home side, with Tony Yapp, Tom Rawlings and Jake Murphy also going over.

Wharfeldale's points came through tries for Rob Baldwin, Chris Malherbe, James Tincknell and Daniel Salomi, with two Mark Bedworth conversions.

The results ensures Launceston stay third in National One, with Wharfedale in fifth.
