Exeter Chiefs ran in eight tries during an emphatic win over Doncaster Knights at Sandy Park on Saturday. The Chiefs started strongly with Richie Baxter going over for their first touchdown in the first 10 minutes. Further tries from Tom Hayes, Neil Clark, Phil Dollman, Steve Jones (2) and Simon Alcott followed, alongside a penalty try. Doncaster's points came from Neil Cochrane and Bryn Griffiths tries, with Ali Warnock adding the extras. Chiefs fly-half Danny Gray kicked four conversions and and a penalty to add an extra gloss to the victory. Exeter now sit top of Pool B of the Championships play-offs having taken 14 points from their four games, whilst Doncaster are bottom with just five points.
