Coventry's hopes of avoiding the drop out of the Championship have been dealt a blow after they lost both of their opening relegation play-off matches. Coventry were hammered 29-3 away to Rotherham and then lost 22-18 to local rivals Birmingham & Solihull at the Butts Park Arena on Saturday. Coach Dave Addleton told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "We lacked composure. The players have to look at themselves." Two wins from their final four games could keep Coventry in the league. They face Moseley at home on Saturday, and then travel to Birmingham & Solihull, Moseley and then their final game will be at home to Rotherham.
