Redruth coach Nigel Hambly given four week ban by RFU

Redruth's head coach Nigel Hambly has been banned from match day activity for four weeks by the Rugby Football Union.

Hambly pleaded guilty of abusing officials during the Reds game against Wharefdale at the Rec on 30 January.

The RFU charged him with two offences of conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game, one of which he was exonerated from.

At the same hearing and in relation to the same match, Redruth were charged £50 for fielding 16 players.

On Monday, Redruth announced they had suspended Hambly for two weeks.

Redruth lost the National One clash against Wharfedale 34-13.
