A stoppage-time try from Aled Thomas prevented Plymouth Albion from claiming their seventh home win of the season.

Albion took an early lead through two Kieran Hallet penalties but it was Welsh who touched down first, with winger Dominic Shabbo going over.

Shortly before the break Plymouth were awarded a penalty try to put them 13-5 in front.

In the second-half Welsh fought back with a penalty, before Thomas crossed late on to draw the scores level.

The result sees Albion stay eighth in the Championship standings with 39 points, while Welsh remain third on 58 points.
