Plymouth Albion ended a two-match losing run with a comfortable victory over Coventry on Saturday. Albion opened the scoring when full-back Liam Gibson touched down for a converted try after 25 minutes. Coventry fly-half Fangatapu Apikotoa then put the score at 7-3 with a penalty just before half-time. In the second period, two Alex Davies penalties put Plymouth further ahead, before Sione Tu'ipulotu scored their second try just before the end. The result sees Albion stay seventh in the Championship standings with 35 points, whilst Coventry remain second-bottom on seven points.
