Centre Billy Twelvetrees returned after an ankle injury with two tries as Leicester kept alive their hopes of reaching the LV= Cup semi-finals. Twelvetrees scored a key try late in the first half and then sealed the win with his second five minutes from time. Pressure from the Tigers led to a second-half penalty try when Bath collapsed a scrum. Jonny Faamatuainu scored a consolation try for Bath but Alex Tuilagi's late effort clinched a bonus point win.
Leicester head coach Richard Cockerill (on Billy Twelvetrees): "I thought the step off his left foot for his second try was as good as I have seen. "Billy has got a huge talent with some real natural ability. We just need to keep following that and give him opportunities to develop and I'm sure he will come through. "He's got to make sure his error count is low and his quality involvements are up there, but he's a real prospect." Bath head coach Steve Meehan: "I was very happy with the first half and particularly happy with the way the younger players came on and did a good job. "I thought Scott Hobson and Josh Ovens in particular. Scott was probably our man of the match. "With Danny Grewcock suspended Scott is certain to get an opportunity."
