Ashley Smith claimed one of the Dragons three tries
A fired-up Dragons side eased to a win over the Ospreys who included Wales stars Shane Williams and Adam Jones.
First half tries by lock Adam Jones and skipper Ashley Smith set the tone for the Dragons.
Fly-half Jason Tovey booted 25 points from seven penalties and two conversions before wing Aled Brew claimed a late try.
Teenage Wales squad member Tom Prydie claimed a try and two conversions and fly-half Gareth Owen also went over.
Dragons fly-half Jason Tovey:
"We set this game out to get us back to winning ways after a few losses we've had.
"Fair play to the boys, they came out and fair play to the Ospreys as they didn't give in.
"Any team the Ospreys put out is going to be strong so we are happy with the win."
Ospreys coach Jonathan Humphreys:
"The Dragons were pretty fired up there and it was a difficult night for some of the kids who were out there.
"But it's a valuable experience for them and lots of lessons learnt for those kids.
"Our discipline was obviously a huge problem out there which is something we have to address."
