Exeter Chiefs finally managed to end their poor run of form with an away win over the Rotherham Titans on Sunday. After going unbeaten for 13 league games, the Chiefs had lost all three of their previous outings. Exeter raced into a 24-3 lead in the first half, despite having to make early changes to the team sheet. Among the try scorers were Matt Jess, Sean Marsden and Clive Stuart-Smith with Gareth Steenson converting all three and also scoring a penalty. Rotherham fought back in the second half when they were awarded a penalty, which they followed by a try midway through the half. Exeter's Andy Miller was shown a yellow card and sin-binned late in the match, which spurred the Titan's Matt Farmer to score a try that Johnny West converted, to secure a bonus point for Rotherham.
