Hull is expecting a difficult reception at Birmingham and Solihull
Bristol head coach Paul Hull says he is expecting an awkward contest against Birmingham and Solihull on Saturday.
The Bees, who lost 33-10 to Plymouth Albion last week, have come up from National League Two and have billed the game as 'Underdogs versus Top Dogs'.
"They like to make life very difficult for teams that go to their ground," Hull told BBC Radio Bristol.
"It's going to be a big game for them and they'll try and spoil any party we try to bring."
Hull though admits his research has been limited.
"We've had no information about Birmingham," he admitted. "We've had no footage but it's actually quite pleasing because we've been able to focus on what we're doing."
Hull revealed that the players have been a lot more relaxed since their narrow opening-day win against London Welsh.
"There were no harsh words after the game ,we haven't won too many games at Bristol in the last couple of years.
"There were seasoned-professionals that were very nervous about that opening day.
"Expectations were high and there were a lot of losses from last season.
"That got to the players and even the management team were quite nervous going into the game."
