Plymouth Albion have signed prop forward George Porter from National Three South side Lydney. The 20-year-old has previously played for Birmingham & Solihull, England U-21s and Gloucestershire U-21s. Porter is Albion's fourth signing of the close season in preparation for life in the newly-formed Championship. Gary Kingdom and Tom Skelding both signed from the Exeter Chiefs, whilst Tongan international Sione Mone Tu'ipulotu moved from Japan.
