Forward James Waterhouse has become Plymouth Albion's second signing of the close season after moving from recently relegated side Esher. Waterhouse played in all three back-row positions for the Surrey club, as well as appearing in the second-row. The 23-year-old has also played for Rotherham alongside Albion full-back Geoff Griffiths. Waterhouse follows former Exeter Chiefs full-back Gary Kingdom, who signed on Wednesday, to Brickfields. Albion's chairman of rugby Graham Dawe told BBC Sport that he believes Waterhouse will bring a wide range of strengths to the squad. Dawe said: "James has good rugby ability, enthusiasm and is a very good lineout forward as well as a strong ball carrier. "His versatility is what attracted us to him, in that he can play at numerous positions in the pack."
