Head coach Neil Back is eyeing more success in the Premiership

Leeds Carnegie's promotion to next season's Guinness Premiership has been confirmed by the Rugby Football Union.

They ended the season last weekend with a 17-6 victory at Plymouth Albion to win National League One by 14 points.

Having satisfied the Professional Game Board's minimum standards criteria for promotion, Leeds chief executive Gary Hetherington said: "We are delighted.

"Under Andy Key and Neil Back we have moved forward this season, and we are looking forward to the pre-season."

Key, director of rugby, and head coach Back were appointed at the tail-end of last summer and made just three signings during their National One campaign.
