Coach Jon Hill believes Hilton to be a quality player

Launceston have signed second row forward Ben Hilton from freshly relegated Cornish rivals Mounts Bay.

The Cornish county player is one of several players leaving Bay after their relegation to National Two South.

"He represents everything that this club is about and he is going to add a lot to our line-out," All Blacks coach Jon Hill told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"He's a quality player and will fit in well at Polson Bridge, especially as he knows a lot of the players."

Hilton has also played for Cornish Pirates.
