Kendal were beaten 33-5 by Loughborough Students in the National League Three North encounter on Saturday.

The Mint Bridge outfit were undone by three early tries by the home side, and trailed 19-0 at the break.

And the match was placed further beyond doubt with two more tries in the second period to seal a four try bonus point.

The visitors managed a consolation try to add some balance to the scoreline, number 8 Craig Wilson scoring after pressure from a five-metre scrum.
