Guernsey Rugby Club were narrowly beaten by Wimbledon in London South West Three at Footes Lane on Saturday. The Sarnians lost 27-25 to Wimbledon, who lie second in the London Division Three South West table and are looking to secure promotion this season. The defeat leaves Guernsey seventh in the league with two games to play. Guernsey travel to face league leaders Chichester next week before hosting sixth placed Bognor in their final game of the season.
