Hooker Rob Rawlinson believes Leeds Carnegie's National Trophy Final appearance will prove to be the springboard to bigger things.
Leeds face National One rivals Moseley at Twickenham on 18 April and as they look to secure a league and cup double.
"I think this is just a progression of the way this squad is developing," Rawlinson told BBC Radio Leeds.
"A Twickenham final is great, a win there and win the league and we'll be very happy with that."
It will be the West Yorkshire side's second major final in four years.
They lifted the last ever Powergen Cup in 2005 when they beat Bath.
Rawlinson was part of the squad that day, coming on as a second-half substitute for Mark Regan.
The veteran forward added: "We have had a few setbacks in recent weeks, so it was great to bounce back against Nottingham in this semi-final.
"We wanted to go unbeaten this season, that can't happen now, but we are stronger for it and still have the chance of achieving a wonderful season. We have great belief."
