Powell is hoping to return to action after a rib injury
Cambridge flanker Tom Powell is adamant he and his team-mates are not about to lose their heads as they target promotion from National Two.
Cambridge are away to eighth-placed Wharfedale on Saturday.
Powell told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "A slip-up between now and the end of the season means there's nothing to play for.
"But we've got to take it one step at a time - be it away at Wharfedale or home to Southend."
Cambridge, who currently sit in fourth place, saw off Wharfedale convincingly the last time the two sides met 52-7 and Powell is hoping for more of the same.
He said: "Hopefully we can go up there with a repeat performance and come away with a five-point victory to keep pushing Birmingham and Redruth.
"Wharfedale are always a tough team to play at any stage of the season. They usually have a big pack, they're a very physical bunch and quite confrontational."
Meanwhile Powell is looking to recover from a rib injury in time to feature in the match.
