McGee is one of four Leeds props to be carrying an injury
Leeds Carnegie could delve into the loan market this week to ease their front-row injury problems.
Leeds have sustained injuries to props Tommy McGee, Pete Bucknell and Juan Gomez in recent games, while Fosi Pala'amo is out for the season.
"We are down to our last three props," director of rugby Andy Key told BBC Radio Leeds.
"We are probably going to have to look at a loan arrangement to help us out and we'll do that this week."
Pala'amo is recovering from a hand operation, Gomez has a hamstring injury, while McGee has been battling through the pain barrier with various niggling injuries.
Bucknell is the latest member of Leeds front-row to be sidelined, after being forced from the field in his side's National Trophy win over Coventry on Sunday.
Key added: "Pete suffered a knee injury against Rotherham a few weeks back and he's taken another knock on that now.
"We need to wait and see how that injury develops in the next 48 hours to see how bad it is.
"The last day to register players in 27 February, so we have to get something resolved and make a decision before that date."
Meanwhile, Leeds have been drawn away to either Birmingham & Solihull or Cinderford in the National Trophy quarter-finals.
The National Two sides meet this Saturday in their fifth round match.
The quarter-final tie will be played over the weekend of 28 February and 1 March.
