Adam Caves' try just before half time was little more than a consolation |
Moseley could not overcome another slow start as they fell to a 44-17 defeat at Nottingham in their National League One clash on Sunday. A week after overturning a 21-point deficit at home to Rotherham they gave Nottingham a 24-point lead before making the score 24-10 at the break. Hooker Adam Caves grabbed a first-half try and Andy Reay crossed the line after the break. But Nottingham secured their win by scoring 20 second-half points. Moseley, who are 10th in the table, will take a break from league action next weekend as they continue their EDF Energy National Trophy campaign. They travel down to Somerset to take on lower division opponents, Bridgwater & Albion.
