James Rodwell crossed twice, making it 12 tries for the season |
Moseley overcame a 21-point deficit to beat Rotherham Titans 43-21 in their National One clash on Saturday. The home side had made a disastrous start at Billesley Common, conceding tries to Jon Feeley (2) and Mike Whitehead in the opening quarter. But forward pressure started the Moseley fightback, with a penalty try followed by a James Rodwell score. After the break Dan Norton, Jack Adams, Neil Mason and Rodwell again crossed the Titans line. Number eight forward Rodwell has now taken his season's tally to 12 tries, while the scores from Norton and Adams were further vindication of the club's close working relationship with Premiership side Gloucester - both backs are on loan from Kingsholm. There was also an impressive turn at fly-half from Tristan Roberts, given a rare start in preference to Richard Vasey. The result leaves Moseley in ninth position in the table, nine points behind London Welsh with a game in hand.
