Launceston suffered a heartbreaking one-point defeat at Stourbridge, despite scoring five tries. The Cornish All Blacks were 14 points behind after only 12 minutes at Stourton Park but they wiped out the deficit to lead 17-14. From 24-24 at the break, the Cornish side failed to capitalise and saw their promotion chances further recede. Hamish Smales ran 80 metres before sending Mike Myerscough over for Launceston's best try of the game.
