Second-placed Exeter showed no mercy as they ran in six tries to rack up a thumping victory against Manchester strugglers Sedgley Park.

The Chiefs were 18-0 up at the interval thanks to first-half tries from Matt Jess, Tom Johnson and Tom Hayes.

Paul McKenzie, Josh Drauniniu and Sean Marsden completed the bonus point win, which sets them up for next weekend's Devon derby against Plymouth Albion.

The only minus was their form with the boot, only two kicks being landed.
