The Pirates' coaching staff will have a permanent addition next season |
The Cornish Pirates have announced that Chris Stirling will be returning to the club as their high performance manager. The 46-year-old New Zealander joined the Pirates for seven weeks last year to advise them on rugby's new experimental law variations. The former Wellington B coach has signed a two-year contract. "He has the right credentials to deliver what will be required next season and beyond," said Pirates chief executive Rod Coward. "I am delighted that he has agreed to be a part of our future plans and I believe that his contribution will have a marked impact on the team's performances," he added.
