Chiefs' Andress gets two-week ban

Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs prop John Andress has been suspended by an RFU disciplinary panel for two weeks after being found guilty of striking an opponent.

Andress was shown a red card in the 57th minute of Exeter's National One match at Doncaster on 6 December.

He was suspended by his club for last week's match against Esher and will also miss Saturday's game at Leeds.

He can play again from Tuesday, 23 December meaning he could face the Cornish Pirates four days later.
