"This news has buoyed the club at a very important stage of the season," said chief executive Tony Rowe. "The club is grateful for the continued support in what is a tight time for many businesses," he added. South West Communications managing director Harry Langley added: "We are in the fortunate position of not being significantly affected by the credit crunch. "This has given us the confidence to extend our deal with the Chiefs for another three years, making it 18 consecutive years in total by 2011. "As a company, we have enjoyed watching Exeter Chiefs evolve from the amateur club I used to play for into the thoroughly professional outfit it is today, on the brink of Premiership rugby."
