North Midlands centre James Whybrow is part of the Midlands Under-18 squad to train in Bromsgrove later this month. The Five Ways Old Edwardians player makes a rapid progression from Under-16 representative rugby after wearing England colours last season. Moseley prospect Louis Padian is among the 16 forwards in the squad, as is Whybrow's club colleague Nile Dacres. Three players will be cut from the training squad before the team head to the Divisional Festival next month. The initial 28-man party includes three more graduates of last season's England Under-16 squad - centre Joe Cobden, full-back Alex Lewington and fly-half Jamie Elliott. There are also three former Under-16 A internationals in props Padian and Will Bigley, and flanker Will Radburn. The Divisional Festival will be staged at Broadstreet RFC, near Coventry, running from 2-4 January.
