Brown is unhappy with the way the RFU has handled the situation |
Launceston joint head coach Chris Brown has criticised the Rugby Football Union decision to change the structure of the English game next season. The Cornish All Blacks have less chance of being promoted from National League Two as only one team will go up at the end of this season. "I don't think it's fair on the teams at the top of this division," he told BBC Radio Cornwall. He says many clubs' plans for this term have been ruined by the decision. | To bring in something overnight and say 'we're going to change the goalposts', I personally think it's not correct Launceston joint head coach Chris Brown | "It's important that promotion and relegation issues are sorted at the start of the year. "Most clubs have business plans. They have clear things that they put into place and clear goals and aspirations," he said. Brown also feels that the current system works well enough. "The English league system is revered throughout the world. Why change what's not broken? "To bring in something overnight and say 'we're going to change the goalposts', I personally think it's not correct," he said.
