Spalding are still top of the Midlands Three East (North) table after a comfortable 20-8 victory over title rivals Melton Mowbray on Saturday. Lincoln remain in sixth place in the same league after running out 40-26 winners over Bakewell Mannerians. Sleaford are off the bottom of the table after beating Grimsby 29-7. In Midlands Four East (North), top-of-the-table Market Rasen & Louth ran out 37-13 winners against second-placed Boston in their local derby. Kesteven, however, failed to score any points against Ashby, losing 15-0. In the Midlands Four East (South), Deepings went back to losing ways, this time away at Bedford Swifts 63-12.
