There were good home wins for both Lincoln and Spalding in the Midlands Three East (North) league.

Spalding ran out convincing 93-3 winners over Nottingham Moderns, as Lincoln beat West Bridgeford 29-3 and Sleaford lost at Ashbourne 15-3.

In Midlands Four East (North), Barton & District were beaten 40-3 by Market Rasen & Louth.

Boston were victorious over Southwell 40-17 and Kesteven just missed out at Notts Casuals 7-6.

The only local game in the Midlands Four East (South), involving Deepings, was postponed.
