Baxter has had the accusation of dangerous charging dismissed

Exeter Chiefs captain Richie Baxter has been found not guilty of dangerous charging after a meeting of the RFU disciplinary committee on Monday.

Baxter was cited by Plymouth Albion for a tackle on Geoff Griffiths during the Chiefs 41-14 win at Brickfields on Saturday, 11 October.

Winger Griffiths was left with a broken jaw as a result of the incident.

30-year-old Baxter has made over 300 appearances for the Chiefs since joining the Sandy Park club in 1999.
