Baxter's offence happened in front of a record 6,871 crowd at Brickfields

Exeter Chiefs captain Richie Baxter is to face a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel next week after being cited for dangerous charging.

Baxter is accused of the offence during the Chiefs' derby win over Plymouth Albion on Saturday, 11 October.

The Chiefs went on to beat their Devon rivals 41-14 at the Brickfields.

Baxter, who has made over 300 appearances for the club in the past nine years, will face the hearing on Monday, 3 November on Bristol.
