Luctonians stay top of Midlands One despite losing for the first time this season at Peterborough. Lucs never recovered from a 15-point deficit and went down 20-12 as their unbeaten record ended. At the other end of the table, Malvern are still rooted to the bottom after a 46-24 defeat at Kenilworth - their sixth loss in a row. In Midlands Two West Bromsgrove are top after beating Walsall but Hereford lost at Stoke. Luctonians were up against a strong wind at Peterborough, where the home side scored tries from Pete Burndell and Chris Kells with ten points coming from the boot of Duncan Low. Paul Holland and Leon Mells got the Lucs tries.  Duncan Roke scored vital try for Bromsgrove. |
Kenilworth ran in seven tries against Malvern, with Ricky Hyslop scoring two. Malvern showed plenty of fight with Ryan Henshaw crossing the line twice with Gareth Taylor and Tom Beachy also touching down. Former Worcester Warriors star Duncan Roke scored a vital try for Bromsgrove as they came from behind to beat Walsall in Midlands Two West. Nigel Burrows was the other Bromsgrove hero scoring two tries as they won 23-15. Hereford are off the top though after losing for the first time this season 14-12 at Stoke. Hereford's points came from a Ben Gibson try and a conversion and penalty from Ben Probert.
