Brodley is a vastly experienced coach in the county.

Former Chinnor coach John Brodley has taken over from Matt Maudsley as director of rugby at Oxford Harlequins.

Maudsley resigned after the team failed to win any of their opening five games in South West Division One.

Brodley told BBC Oxford: "I am looking forward to the challenge and dealing with some quality players.

"Matthew laid a good foundation, but I do things my own way. We will draw a line under anything that has happened before and start afresh.

Brodley takes charge of team affairs for the first time in Saturday's EDF National Trophy game at Bracknell.
