Constable is Oxford's top scorer this season with five goals
Oxford United striker James Constable believes getting it right at home could be a platform for success.
The U's have now won three in a row at home - and their next two games are at the Kassam Stadium.
Constable was on target in the 2-1 victory against Burton but told BBC Oxford that was more pleased the team picked up all three points.
"It was an absolutely massive result. Hopefully if we pick up a few wins here in the next few weeks we can push on."
Oxford United manager Darren Patterson has highlighted Constable's importance to the team in recent weeks and the former Kidderminster man is keen to see his strike pairing with Jamie Guy improve in the future.
"We got together - me, Jamie and the gaffer - and had a chat and tried to get that link play going. It is a case of building that partnership and getting that understanding."
The Yellows' next match is at home to Hayes & Yeading in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
