Mounts Bay will be without flanker Brett Stroud until 9 November after he was found guilty of two separate infringements by the RFU. The former Plymouth Albion man was found guilty of striking against Stourbridge last month. He was given a five-week ban from 6 October to 9 November for that offence. Stroud was also banned from 29 September to 5 October after being sent off for stamping against Birmingham Solihull on 27 September. His first game back will be the home game with Southend on Saturday, 15 November. Bay had better news regarding captain Nick Burnett, who was found not guilty of stamping against Stourbridge and had the red card issued to him rescinded.
