Kieran Hallett landed four conversions after being preferred to Ross Laidlaw |
Four second-half tries turned it round for Plymouth Albion as they romped to their first away win of the season. After trailing 11-3 at half-time, Albion turned it on after the restart to finish off the Yorkshiremen. Centre Arron Cruickshanks started the comeback four minutes after the break, followed by Keni Fisilau eight minutes later, also improved by Kieran Hallett. Further tries from Justin Mensah-Coker and hooker Gareth Evans, and two more Hallett kicks, secured a bonus point. Hallett was one of four changes to the team beaten at home 25-24 by London Welsh a week earlier, having been preferred at stand-off to Ross Laidlaw. And his reliable boot helped Albion move up to seventh in the National League 1 table.
