Plymouth Albion slumped to a disappointing defeat at Newbury's Monks Lane in National One. Newbury, previously bottom and without a win, led 14-3 at the break with Albion only having a Ross Laidlaw penalty to their name. It was Albion's kicking which let them down, with only two out of six penalties going through the posts. A late Kieran Hallett try failed to bring any joy on a bad day in Berkshire which Plymouth will want to forget.
