Albion boss Graham Dawe dropped himself to the bench |
Plymouth Albion went down to their second successive National One defeat after losing by a single point to London Welsh at Brickfields. Albion scored one try before half-time with full-back Geoff Griffiths going over just before the break to give Welsh a 19-7 lead. Plymouth clawed themselves to within one point of the visitors with tries from Martin Rice and Wayne Sprangle. But they could not prevent a defeat, their first at home this season.
