Cornish Pirates faced a spirited fightback from Otley after building an early lead but held on to win.

Pirates led 21-11 at half-time, with tries from left wing Aisea Havili, lock Mike Burak and hooker Rob Elloway.

The Pirates continued their good work in the second half, with Havili and right wing Marika Vakacegu extending the score to 31-18.

Otley clawed their way back, but the final whistle blew as they were held up over the Pirates line.
