Chipping Norton rugby club will put its faith in youth to build for the future.

The first team have recently been promoted to the Southern Counties North and club president David Lakin has perdicted a bright future ahead.

He told the club's website: "I am thrilled to see the growth of mini and junior rugby here at Chippy.

"Sundays see in excess of 200 youngsters performing with skill and equal sportsmanship which truly gladdens my heart."

'Chippy' are in partnership with Premiership outfit London Wasps, which has seen the development of youngsters flourish, culminating in winning the Wasps' junior Rugby Challenge Cup.
