Cornish Pirates have made Canadian international forward Michael Burak their third new signing in three days.

The 27-year-old will join Plymouth Albion duo Jannie Bornman and Ben Gulliver at Camborne next season.

The lock first played for his country in last autumn's World Cup, fulfilling a dream he set watching the previous tournament in Australia.

Burak joins the Pirates from French side Pau, where he has been playing in the Pro D2 League.

At 6ft 7in (2.01m) tall and weighing 18.5 stone (117.5kg), Burak will add to the Pirates' solid physical foundation.
