Esher coach Mike Schmid said he could not have asked for more from his players after they gave National One League leaders Northampton a fright. Esher led 10-5 at the interval on Saturday before the visitors ran in 36 points without reply, winning 41-10.
Schmid told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "The first-half display was unbelievable, much more than we could have asked from the boys.
"I was delighted with the effort, intensity, enthusiasm, and discipline."
