Clement Poitrenaud did his Six Nations chances the power of good with an accomplished display at inside centre for Toulouse against Edinburgh.

Poitrenaud lost his place as France full-back during the World Cup but with Yannick Jauzion set to miss the opening two games of the Six Nations through injury, he may now claim a midfield berth.

The 25-year-old was the creative heart of Toulouse's display and it was his pass that freed Yves Donguy for his second-half try.
