Ulster may have lost, but wing Tommy Bowe was still one of the most outstanding players on the pitch against Gloucester.

Bowe scored two tries and created another as he tried his best to haul his side back into the game.

All the pre-match talk was about the return of Lesley Vainikolo but Bowe was the outstanding winger on the pitch - solid in defence and creative in attack. Eddie O'Sullivan will have noted fine back to back performances from Bowe in Europe.
