Geraghty lasted just 30 minutes against America |
England Saxons fly-half Shane Geraghty will play no further part in the Churchill Cup due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the win over America. Coach Jim Mallinder said it is "just a tweak" but does not want the London Irish star to risk his chances of being picked for England's World Cup squad.
Eight more players have been added to the squad to face Scotland on Monday.
They include Wasps' Heineken Cup heroes Tom Voyce, Paul Sackey, Danny Cipriani and James Haskell.
Also included in the squad are Leicester-bound centre Ayoola Erinle, Tigers lock Tom Croft and Bath duo Nick Abendanon and Olly Barkley.
"Although I was very pleased with the way our backline went against the USA we've decided to bring in some of the more experienced players who were involved in Europe this weekend," said Mallinder.
"Our pack, particularly our front five, were excellent on Friday, but the addition of Haskell and Croft further strengthen things for us."
Fly-half Ryan Lamb has returned to Gloucester as part of a pre-existing agreement with the club.
