Australia captain and scrum-half George Gregan has agreed a six-month contract to join French team Toulon next season after the World Cup. The 33-year-old, who has played a world record 127 internationals, is hoping to play in his fourth World Cup finals.
Toulon currently lie second in Division Two but hope to have been promoted by the time Gregan joins in November.
Former New Zealand captain Tana Umaga had a nine-game stint playing for Toulon last year.
