Six Nations player watch
VINCENT CLERC, France
Toulouse winger

Clerc broke Irish hearts with his last-gasp try, but the lightning-quick winger deserves the highest praise for the way he clinically took the chance under intense pressure.

Getting the ball in space, Clerc - ignoring the players outside him - spotted Neil Best drifting wide before beating John Hayes, Denis Hickie and Paul O'Connell to score.

But that was far from his only contribution, with a series of dangerous runs and some impressive kicking from hand.

Our verdict: TOO HOT

606: How impressive was Clerc?
