ACT reach Super 12 final
Justin Marshall celebrates Canterbury's victory in the Super 12 semi-finals
Canterbury 27-16 Stormers
ACT 32-17 Waikato
ACT Brumbies will face Canterbury Crusaders in the Super 12 final after the Australians cruised past Waikato Chiefs on Saturday.

Second row Radike Samo's stunning try was the highlight for the 2001 champions as they claimed a 32-17 victory in the second semi-final.

They booked a third final meeting with the Crusaders, who beat South African side the Stormers 27-16 in the first semi.

Canterbury claimed a third successive Super 12 title in 2000 when they pipped the Brumbies in Canberra.

And they won their fourth crown two years ago with a 31-13 win over ACT in Christchurch.

Daniel Carter kicked 17 points on Saturday for the Christchurch-based outfit, who finished eight points behind the Brumbies in the Super 12 table.

The New Zealanders scored two tries, through Justin Marshall and Caleb Ralph.

De Wet Barry powered over for the Stormers' try, with the rest of their points coming from the boot of Gaffie Du Toit.

"The guys stood up tonight," said Crusaders captain Reuben Thorne.

"The Stormers came here and threw everything into it as we knew they would. The first half was all about pressure.

"They put heaps on us but we managed to stay close. We piled it on a bit more in the second half and came away with the win."
